Hello! I am Dana Elliott.
I am a professional photographer in the small city of Danville, Virginia. It gives me such joy to freeze the moments you hold most dear to your heart, a piece of your story and your soul. As a busy wife and mother of two spirited boys, I know how quickly these special times can pass by undocumented. Let’s make sure you are able to look back at how teeny those toes used to be, the way he crinkles his nose when he smiles, or the sunlight peeking through your senior’s beautiful portraits.
I specialize in the Birdie Boudoir Experience, and portraiture, but am happy to discuss your vision and make it come to life.
As a former veterinary technician of 10 years, I also offer stress-free and FUN portraits of your furry, feathered, and scaled loved ones. Kisses and cuddles included!
The Little Things
But first, COFFEE. I am usually covered in dog hair in spite of my cleaning efforts (three wonderful pups and two kittens). I try to look presentable for your session, but I will inevitably end up with a sweaty ponytail. I am obsessed with Harry Potter, and can say all the lines to every episode of Friends. My boudoir playlist is a little inspired by my years of instructing Zumba. COFFEE. I get emotional seeing women SEE themselves at a boudoir reveal. I know what it's like to have too many conversations with that voice inside of your head, so making that little voice SHUSH is an amazing feeling! I could go on, but what would we talk about over coffee? Let's go!
